Caroline trained as a mental health nurse. She worked for a number of years in Community Mental Health practice, and then moved into education as a nurse lecturer in a London University in the mid 1990s. In recent years, following the increased interest in CBT and its endorsement by the National Institute of Care and Clinical Excellence, she has been involved in curriculum development of CBT programmes, as well as delivering education on this subject area.
Caroline began her MSc in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy in 1998, leading to accreditation with the BABCP. She has developed her practice, both as a therapist and a supervisor in the years that have followed. She completed the Post –graduate certificate in clinical supervision in 2006 and has an established portfolio of private practice and supervision of therapists, including the role of supervisor of IAPT high intensity therapists for almost two years.
Caroline has also been an active member of the UKCP for the Cognitive Psychotherapies College since October 2009. She is also actively involved with Chinese communities nationally, offering consultation and development of therapy initiatives. Her combined mental health and therapy experience has been invaluable in enhancing her therapy which benefits clients with a wide range of conditions.
